Beta application privacy notice
Under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (KVKK), this notice explains how data collected through the beta application form on offlayn.com is processed. Last updated: 11 October 2026. If the two language versions differ, the Turkish text prevails.
1. Data controller
Data controller: Offlayn ([email protected]).
2. Purpose of processing
The purpose of processing is to contact people who apply for the closed beta (including an automatic email confirming that the application was received) and to select beta testers. The data is not used for advertising, marketing or any other purpose, and is never sold.
3. Categories of data processed
Only the fields of the application form are processed:

The hidden bot-protection field in the form is not stored.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1), given by ticking the consent box in the application form.
5. Retention
Application data is kept until the beta ends and for at most 12 months, or deleted earlier on request.
6. Data processor and transfers abroad
The data is stored with Supabase as data processor, in the European Union (Frankfurt). The email confirming your application and the application summary sent to us are delivered through the email service Resend as data processor (European Union, Ireland); for this, only your email address and, in the summary sent to us, your application details are passed to Resend. Because the data is processed on servers outside Turkey, your explicit consent also covers the transfer abroad under KVKK Art. 9. Apart from these, the data is not shared with any third party.
7. Your rights under KVKK Art. 11
As a data subject you have the right:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed,
- To request information if it has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
- To know the third parties the data is transferred to, in Turkey or abroad,
- To request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- To request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
- To request that these operations be notified to third parties the data was transferred to,
- To object to an adverse result arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems,
- To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
8. Withdrawing consent and how to apply
You can withdraw your consent at any time and exercise the rights above: just write to [email protected] from the email address you used in your application. When you withdraw consent, your application is deleted. Requests are answered within thirty days at the latest.
